FAQs
Do you offer framing options?
Yes.
Many of the paintings on my website include photos and pricing for optional frames that I’ve selected to complement the mood and feel of each piece.
If you’re interested in a different frame style or colour, feel free to send me a message — I’d be happy to provide other options and pricing based on what you have in mind.
Do you charge sales tax?
Not at this time.
Because I’m a small business in British Columbia earning under the $30,000/year threshold, I am not currently required to charge GST. If that changes in the future, I’ll update my checkout and FAQ accordingly.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes. Pickup is available in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
I also ship throughout North America. Shipping costs are calculated based on the size of the painting and your location. Once you purchase I will email you within two business days to let you know the available shipping options to your location and then invoice you for the one that you decided on. Once payment is complete your painting will be shipped. If you would like to have an approximate shipping cost prior to purchasing — just reach out and I’ll be happy to provide a quote.
If you’re outside of North America, send me a message and I’ll gladly look into shipping options for your country.
Will my painting arrive ready to hang?
For local pickup or nearby deliveries, your painting will come stretched and ready to hang on the wall.
For long-distance or international orders, especially for larger works, I may ship the painting rolled in a tube to reduce shipping costs and ensure safe delivery. If this is the case, you’ll just need to have it re-stretched at a local framer once it arrives. I’m happy to help you find one in your area and guide you through the process — it’s something many art collectors are used to, and it’s a simple way to protect the painting in transit.
Do you take commissions?
Yes, I’m currently accepting commissions.
I love working with clients to create meaningful, custom pieces for their homes or spaces. If you’re interested in having a painting made just for you, please send me a message with a general idea of what you’re envisioning — whether it’s colours, mood, size, or inspiration from a past piece.
You can read about the process in more detail here.
Do your paintings come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes all original paintings will come with a certificate of authenticity.
What is your return or refund policy?
All sales are final.
Each painting is a one-of-a-kind, original artwork, and I take great care to show accurate photos, descriptions, and framing details before purchase. If you have any questions before buying, I’m always happy to chat and provide extra info or images to help you feel confident in your decision.
In the unlikely event your painting is damaged during shipping, please contact me right away with photos so we can find a solution.
How should I care for my painting?
Each painting is finished with a protective varnish to help guard against UV light and dust.
To keep your artwork looking its best:
Avoid hanging it in direct sunlight for extended periods.
Keep it in a dry environment, away from humidity or extreme temperature changes.
If needed, gently dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth — no cleaning products or water.
Handle the painting with care, especially around the edges and surface, and enjoy it for years to come.
Can I make prints or copies of the painting I buy?
Thanks so much for asking. When you purchase one of my paintings, you’re buying the original, one-of-a-kind artwork to enjoy in your space. I do retain the copyright, which means I may use images of the piece for things like prints, my portfolio, or social media — even after it’s sold.
If you’re ever curious about prints or wondering if a certain piece will be available as a print in the future, feel free to send me a message — I’m always happy to chat about it.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. I offer beautifully printed physical gift certificates, each one hand-signed, double-sided, and presented with a matching envelope — perfect for birthdays, holidays, housewarmings, or just because.
You can choose any amount, and the recipient can use it toward any available painting or a custom commission. I’m happy to personalize the certificate with a name and message, and I can mail it either to you or directly to the recipient.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — I’m happy to offer a simple layaway-style payment plan.
If there’s a piece you love but need a little extra time, I can split the total into up to four payments over an agreed-upon schedule. Once the painting is fully paid for, I’ll ship it (or arrange pickup if you’re local).
If you’re interested in this option, just send me a message and we’ll make a plan that works for you.
Can I visit your studio?
I don’t have a public studio space, but if you’re local and would like to see a painting in person before purchasing, I’d be happy to arrange a time for you to come by and view it.
I paint from home and live here with my family (and our dog!), so visits are by appointment only — but you’re absolutely welcome to reach out and set something up.
