This piece is called ‘Rooted’ and is inspired by the feels of being grounded and connected to the ‘nature’ and to the lake. I frequent the nearby lakes with my son who loves to fish and it is what keeps him connected and grounded and keeps us rooted to each other. It has a warm palette of browns, warm greys and tans with pops of gold. There are layers of texture built up which makes it feel rich and special.
This piece is 30” x 40” on a gallery depth 1.5” canvas. It is signed on the back and wired for hanging. It has been vanished for UV protection. Sides are painted in a complimentary colour.
